Munkabälte
Munkabälte used to be a popular pattern for hand weaving and is common in Swedish folk weaving. The pattern is made on cotton warp with weft of both linen and dyed cotton. The high proportion of cotton thread gives the fabric a slightly thicker quality, ideal for draperies or upholstery.
