Insjöns Väveri was founded in 1947 by Ivar Hollstein in Insjön, Dalarna, Sweden. Right next to highway 70 south of Leksand, he opened the factory that 78 years later still stands on the same site. Here we produce tablecloths, napkins and towels in linen and cotton using traditional techniques, as close to handwoven as you can get with a machine.

In the old machinery, most things are the same as they used to be. The tireless looms, some of them 100 years old, are still weaving perfectly. Thanks to them, we can continue to produce textiles of unique character and quality, exactly according to old handwoven originals. Read more here!
