Insjön's urban area extends southwest of Lake Insjön with Österdalälven flowing just west.
Many visitors come today to see the old mechanical production, listen to the thumping of the looms and feel the characteristic scent of the linen.

Opening hours in the Factory store
During the summer period we have extended opening hours. From 15th of June to 17th of August we are open:
Weekdays: 10:00–18:00
Saturdays: 10:00–15:00
Sundays: 11.00-15.00
Other opening hours:
Midsummer Eve: 10.00-14.00
Midsummer Day: 11.00-15.00
The Weavery tour - Guided tour in the classical weavery
Welcome to visit the weavery of a purveyor to the Royal Court of Sweden. Learn how we since 1947 have produced the local classical patterns, the famous tea towels and all our other textiles. All weaved in our impressive, up to 100 years old mechaincal weaving machines. Learn about why we love our mix of faux and cotton, the history of the machines and about our hand craft.
The tour is about 30 minutes and ends in the Factory store with coffee or tea and home baked brownie in the Garden Café included.

Between the 18th of June to 15th of August the tour will be every Tuesday and Thursday at 14.00. No booking is needed.

The Garden Café
Welcome back to our Garden Café this summer. In the old wooden storehouse behind the weavery we will be offering coffee, tea, refreshments, ice-cream, home baked and light lunch dishes. We will also regularly have our Wevary tour - a guided tour in the classical weavery with coffee and home baked cookies.
